Details: Once again, we will have Campbell Amusements on site providing fun for the whole family. While we provide activities and entertainment free to attendees, the carnival rides/games are run independently, therefore they do charge for their services.

McDougall Cottage

Details: Join us at the Cottage as we celebrate our Scottish-Canadian heritage with crafts, tours, treats and more! Musical group The Fair Wind performs from 1 to 3:30. Admission is by cash donation.

Waterloo Region Museum

Description: Waterloo Region Museum is throwing a party on Canada Day to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday party and everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is FREE to the museum and the living history village for this fun family event including musical entertainment and fun games like croquet and horseshoes. Guests bring your own picnic lunch or purchase a tasty BBQ lunch (cash only). Admission is FREE.

Joseph Schneider’s House

Details: Celebrate Canada Day and the 201st anniversary of the building of Joseph Schneider’s house all weekend! Built by one of the area’s early American settlers, the National Historic Sites’ 1816 farmhouse turns 201 this summer. Celebrate with cake at 2:00 PM on Canada Day. Fabric Fun with the Grand National: Make a fabric greeting card to take home.

Details: This year’s Canada Day celebration is bigger and better than ever as we celebrate the University of Waterloo’s 60th anniversary, the Federation of Students’ 50th anniversary and the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation! With the addition of the Canada 150 Cultural Stage, there will be lots of entertainment to enjoy, including community group performances. The main stage will host many great acts and speakers, so come check them out. See the schedule and all that is happening at the event!
